Some photos from (upcoming) Finnish Defence Forces' photo archive, which was briefly online (for testing or by mistake?) but not officially opened yet. Some users managed to save a bunch before the site was closed.

Yes sir, but the 16th & 17th picks sure look like AKs
There are indeed few pics with Soviet AK's, like the one with US Gen. Wheeler and bicycle troops. FDF purchased a small number of AK's, known as 7.62 RK 54 in Finland, from Soviet Union in late 50's, before domestic serial production of Valmet-designed RK 62 could be started by Valmet and Sako.

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting to see the mix of different eras of weapons and equipment. Ranging from WWI era maxim heavy machine guns to the modern era.

Gotta get one of those reversible helmet covers for the m/62 steel helmet, man. Bicycle troop photos are very cool and much appreciated! Sten Mk.III and single speed bike... Nice.
