Recently got this at an on-line estate sale.

Finn marked New England Westinghouse 1891. Metal is in good shape. The stock is a little rough, but has a few interesting cartouches.

Also came with an interesting Finnish arsenal tag numbers matched to the rifle.

How common are these Finn Westinghouse 1891's?

They're not UN-common, but are pretty desirable to most on this forum. Things yours has going for it over the usual Finned NEW are: hang tag, CG numbers stamped into shank and stock, possibly original stock as it has NEW cartouche (what's the buttplate S/N, matching to shank?), and possibly original matching bolt. That's a lot, if it all proves true.

I like it!

That's neat how it has Civil Guard district markings on the stock and the barrel.
