I picked this up today. I can't find mush about it other than it was the military used gun before the 37

Pretty cool guns. You'll find the disassembly process is a bit more complex than the 37M. I have a 37M shoots alright. There's some differences but not a ton. 29M is definitely more scarce. I think maybe 50k made unlike 180k or so 37Ms if I'm not mistaken. going off memory here. I'd check Hungariae.com if I were you.

My 29 and two 37s. Complete disassembly is not recommended. I discovered new curse words trying to get the sear back in.

Nice 29M,now you just need a 37M to go with it.

As an aside, I tried swapping the parts around to see if anything besides the magazines would interchange, not really. Whoever engineered the 37M made enough changes that the parts simply won't match. I had intended to make a thread (with pictures) but never did.

They are definitely scarcer than the 37M, and you need both, as well as an M37 to feel "complete".
