Saw this on the CCW {concealed and carry board} and thought it would be a good topic for the RKBA as well. My personal favorites are the KEL-TEC P11 for winter carry and the KEL-TEC P3AT for the hot months. Darn good easily concealable guns at a fair price. The only drawback is a heavy trigger pull, but you can get used to it with just a little practice. Mine will digest any ammo that is put through them without so much as a hiccup! Yes I have larger caliber more expensive pistols, but these are the ones that get carried on a regular basis.:D

Ruger SP 101 in 9 mm with 2.25 inch barrel and four five round full moon clips as backup ammo supply. It conceals nicely. 25 rounds total

favorite carry gun

Just got my new ruger LCP. bought a Holland wallet holster and the two make a dandy combination. I have a Kahr .40 and a couple of Makarovs but here in florida we are never wearing jackets so as to cover up or conceal a decent sized pistol. The little LCP shoots really well with Corbon. I think the quality is great compared to the other ultralites. Yep it's a keeper

I don't have many opportunities to carry......I walk out my door...get in car....drive to work....walk into work....then reverse....then repeat.....
WHEN I get the opportunity to carry, I carry the little NAA .22mag revolvers.....I have (2)....one for each pocket.....and the XD45 stays in the car.

Summertime when lighter clothing is needed, my Remington 51.
That's a classic, Clyde. Is she in .32 or .380? I have a Sig P225/P6 that I keep in my car when I'm not at school, otherwise concealed carry is verboten. I'd like to upgrade to a HK USP Compact in .45, a CZ-75 Compact in .40 or a Sig in .45, though.

380. Feeds modern HP ammo well. A bit heavy, compared to some, what with being all steel but very flat, nothing to catch anywhere and reliable. And points perfectly and insinctively. Much better hang in the hand than the little Colt or Browning pocket autos (which ain't abd - but the Remington is better - noticeably better). Somebody ought to copy its shape and configuration in alloy or titanium, or maybe a polymer frame and a titanium upper. You can do the insides and disassembly better than Pedersen did, but I'd leave it single action with the grip safety. Maybe make the safety lever a bit easier to flick (it is sport of small), but try to change things as little as possible. GOT to keep that perfect balance and shape.

Finally decided to get my CCW. Class in a few days. Plan to carry my G 19. Buddy carries a P3AT. The trigger on that thing is unbearable.

A Hi-Power or a Walther PPK.

Have an early pre WWII PPk that already has a lot of past surface rust so a bit more does not hurt it. (Bore is mint.) The finish on the Hi-Power is also bad, so it cannot be hurt either.
