Many dealers will not export themselves, but use an Export Agent. Here are some I have some across...

www.davessports.com

www.etssincusa.com

www.worldwidesportsnetwork.com

I have not used any of their services but have enquired about pricing etc - it's pretty steep. The US State Department export permit is USD$250, and the Agents fee can vary from USD$125 to $500. From memory, shipping was about USD$150+ because any firearms must be shipped in a wooden crate. These extra costs put me off buying a Finn Carcano for USD$275 and bringing it into NZ.

There can be considerable delays due to bureaucracy, laziness, ineptitude etc.... I know a gentleman here who had to wait 14 months for his rifle to get to NZ from the US....
