Wow! The legal implications of trying to sort out UK laws regarding firearms just makes my brain hurt. I would find a firm in the UK that handles such matters as a matter of routine.
A good place to start would be to inquire with the nearest UK consulate or embassy to see if such a thing is even allowed under their laws. IF so, I'm sure they could point you in the right direction. Using licensed exporter in this country is probably enough to keep you out of trouble with Uncle Sam.
