Not sure if anyone collects information on the Dragoon's but I work in a small sporting good shop and Mosin Nagant's are usually in our inventory. Last week's shipment yielded a nice surprise. 1928 dated Dragoon with all the 91/30 features. Barrel is marked Foremost Ordnance Factory (of the) USSR at Tula. Not sure if these are more collectable than others, nor if they command any special attention but if anyone needs data on this one let me know what you need and I'll get it and forward to you.

Lots of collectors like these ex-dragoons very much, myself included, but sadly they don't bring a huge premium. Great history, almost certain service in the Great Patriotic War and a Tula hex, should get you something of a premium above the usual wartime refurb.

I assume this one is a refurb - small refurb stamp -a box with a slash or "X" in it on the barrel near the date? Refinished wartime stock in red shellac?

Yes, it is a refurb as it has the square stamp with a slash through it and red shellac stock.
