I am thinking of adding the Steyr m9a1 to my collection. What do you owners have to say about this pistol? Ergonomics, reliability and accuracy. Thanks Z

I've had an M9 for 7 or 8 years and havn't found anything to dislike about it. Have not shot it a lot, maybe 300 rounds,
but have had not any malfunctions; I like the unique sights. The "feel" of the lightweight frame takes a little getting used to,
but with a 15 round mag that I recently purchased, the weight of the extra shells seems to give it better balance. It makes a
good glove compartment gun.

I had one of the earlier M9s. It had some sporadic feeding problems that I understand Styer fixed in later versions. I felt the sights were excellent and when the pistol fed it was a fantastic pistol. My problem with the Glock trigger were not present in the Styer proving to myself that it was Glock that was the problem and not my finger on plastic triggers.
