I'm doing a project that I need some help on. I've decided to take an old sporter Enfield with some rough wood and make it into an Enforcer clone. The part that's giving me fits is getting the handguard to look like an Enforcer handguard. Does anybody know of a source for this part, or some way to fashion it myself?

I've thought about using a dowel the right size and cutting it into a handguard, but I couldn't figure out how to make it taper from back to front (don't have a lathe) and I thought about using a handguard from something else (like a 91/30) and just cutting it down and seeing if it would fit.

Appreciate any brainstorms on this:D

The easiest way is to take a normal No4 handguard and bond a 3/4" extension - ie so you have 1/2" of handguard in front of the band.

There is a set of parker hale front and rear bases for an enforcer on gunbroker right now beginning bid $75

I paid $80 for rings and bases that are on the way from england.

The buttstock is harder to find and the pecar 4-10 scope goes for $500 on ebay

The P5c sight is available on ebay around $200

An L42 clone would be cheaper to build and just as accurate.

I understand though Im building one too
