This is not one of the ones I got, but I found an auction that lists one just like the two I picked up... Here's what they look like.
Mine are in somewhat nicer condition, though one does have lighter markings.
Here's the auction link to the one pictured below. I have no idea if it's really that "rare, rare, rare" or not, but it does seem to be Canadian marked.
Well, I have two of them, both alike. If anyone has a 1942 (or WW2) dated Aussie sling and needs a Canadian-marked sling, let me know. Maybe a swap is in order.
Or just upside down? Maybe the stamp-maker got it upside down, or perhaps these were stamped with the SSH first, and the C-arrow later.
