This is pathetic. I wasn't just shocked, I was disgusted... This guy wanted to share and I for one was happy to see his interests, but you did more than squelch that... Frankly, the tone is more than a turn off... I think I'll find another place to inhabit until things change.

This is Dutchman's forum and he's enforing the written rules. That's his job (which he does for free). The rules are posted where everyone can read them. Why were you shocked by this? Whether you like sporterizing mil surps or not really has nothing to do with it. I'm sure there is a forum that deals with sporterized guns someplace on the internet, that's where it should of been posted.

That is part of this forum. Strict adherense to the rules. Some other forums have the same rules regarding other topics, but the OT posts are tolerated. Just because he strictly follows the rules, doesn't make this a bad place to be. Without rules there is disorder. Makes it a whole lot easier to find historic fact and important details without weeding through the crap.

Its like arguing over a speeding ticket when someone gets caught for 3 mph over, while someone else gets busted for 25mph over. Speeding is speeding. Regardless of how great the infraction. Same with the sporter OT posts.
