So I have been busy making 300 BLK brass got them cut down and trimmed to length from the parent 223 brass If that wasnt tedious enough now its time to debur ! I have close to 500 to do so Im trying to speed things up as much as possible , What Im doing now is spinning the case in a speed chuck drill ,Does anyone make a tool that deburrs the in and outside of the case mouth at the same time ? Im thinking of making a small tool that look like mini scissors but are in fixed partial open position.

That idea has been tried and abandoned many times in the precision aerospace arena. Has been tried im both manual & automatic situations, and always fails when metal on metal is involved. Limited success has been observed with "soft abrasives " like Cratex forms, but they wear quickly.

That would be just the ticket ,But I have a Lyman trimmer ..... I was poking around last night and came across a set of Medics safety scissors I had that,They had a 30 or so degree angle on the blades ,The old lightbulb popped on I simply opened them up so there was a "V" about 1/8" and shimmed and taped them in that position , I chucked a case in my small drill press and just touched the scissors against the spinning case mouth for a split second and DONE! Worked great and quick too !, It left a nice VLD type bevel on the inside of the mouth. I got up this morning and just finished up doing close to 500 in less than 1.5 hrs not to bad factoring in coffee and smoke breaks.

Lyman makes or made one. I have it. It's not EASY to set up but works OK. I still use it now and then but I like the VLD for the inside so usually I just do them separately. I made a arbor to hold the Lee tool and use it in a cordless drill to do the outside and then chuck the VLD to do the inside. I did several hundred .223's this way a couple weeks ago. If you want I'll post a photo of the Lyman tool.

+1 on the RCBS 3 way tool. It trims to length and deburrs inside and out just dandy for flat base .303 bullets or soft jacketted boat tail target projectiles.

I have it set up in the drill press. Cases sit on a home made button fixed in a block. One end of the button is SR and other is for LR primers. I have a separate button for Berdan primer pockets. The limit on how many cases you can do is only boredom!
