Hey Dr X how did your new rifle shoot on Saturday?? the Kiwi, Nick and the **** came up to Bacchus Marsh but they didnt know how it went.

All three were suitably impressed by the bad conditions at Bacchus and all declined to have a shoot at 700 meters...cowards huh??

Please let me know how to get involved in shoots at Bacchus Marsh. I'm only a few K up the Calder.

Bacchus Marsh

Hi mate, no problem. They have a very strong fullbore rifle club there....I guess you know where the range is??? Up the hill past the cemetery off onto a side road and parallel the railway line for half a click and you're there.

Shoot every saturday starting about mid day. Ranges are from 300m back to 900 meters and 1000 yards. (not all on the one day though....

There is also a rifle club at Werribee....on the Bacchus Marsh road and another big club at Geelong (Anakie) so within 10 miles or so you've got 3 clubs...plus the SSAA shooting range at Little river.

Hope to see you....we have plenty of club gear and 'experts'??? to help you along...(the term expert is used loosely of course....) if you have really rotten luck on the day you might even get Dr.Beer for a coach.... :-(
