A friend has a Dou 44 that was a bringback. I was looking at it for possibly buying it. But what puzzles me about it is there are only serial numbers on the bolt, receiver, and sight. There are no serials on the bands, trigger housing, or stock. In fact the stock has no markings at all, and has not been sanded.

For a dou 44, G suffix, I would imagine the bands, stock, and trigger housing would still be serialized. Am I right in this?

Stock has no external markings. Serials in the barrel channel.
TG, floorplate, bands, sight, slider and base should all be serialized. I have one in the e block and everything is serialled.

I would expect the stock, handguard, bands, safety, floorplate, rear sight parts, and remaining bolt parts (likely not the extractor though) to be numbered on a G block dou.44. Most of the short cuts started in the later double letter blocks.
