dot 43 with unnumbered stamped bands QUICK HELP

No. Both my DOT 44's have numbered bands.
dot 43 should have numbered bands, rule of thumb, if floorplate and triggerguard are numbered bands should be numbered.
It looks like a turd... Rear sight and all parts s/ned to rifle.. All matching but the stock and bands... 450...

I dont think that constitutes a turd. just a restored sporter.
I appreciate your quick help guys.. Walked into a show yesterday, and the first thing I saw was that dot 43. As the guy pulled it down he said the words "all matching" and "450" in the same sentence.. When I started the thread I was standing with the gun with a line of guys behind me wanting to see it, so I had to make a quick decision.. The bands were stamped, and the numbers were filed off, which I hadnt noticed until after I posted the original question.. I'm not as much of a pro as some, but some of the s/n's didnt look right to me... The whole gun rubbed me wrong.. I had to pass on it..
You did the right thing. Better safe than sorry...
