Check out the little rectangular piece just above the wood line on the right hand side. Looks like a No.4 to me. Just sold for $350.

...and we wonder why that and the rear sling mount are not in the picture.;) I did send a message to the auction house that was studiously ignored, it seems.

$350 would be a very good price, for what I have been able to find out, for a proper No.5 Mk.1. I stumbled across one at a gun show yesterday that was priced at $350 - the woodwork was dirty but didn't have too many dings or dents (and no cracks) and much of the original finish had been worn off of the barrel - might $350 have been a reasonable price? I have given up looking at gunbroker to work out reasonable prices, and I prefer to ask the people who know these things lol.

This one was on an Aussie website with an asking price of Aus$1900.00 and only lasted a day! So to get that one for sub $400.00 is great buying!
Have another look at the listing... perhaps somebody thought they were getting something special.... Hmmm
