A Winchester model 62 and a 62A have the same buttplate?

I'm traveling for a few days and don't have my bible (Schwing) with me but my 62 has a flat metal buttplate. I think the 62A went to the plastic buttplate.

i have googled and every picture there and parts list has the butt plate as composite or plastic. All pice were those in the "50s.
