I'm looking for an original scope and rings (I have the mount, or base) for my original 43 sniper.
I've been looking on eBay, and all other auction sites, but all the scopes that I find look very "new", as in made just last week.

Is there a website, or someone here on the forum that knows the various ways to distinguish original from newly made reproduction?

The only one that I know of is that the original PU scopes had un-coated lenses (not blue-colored).

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks! ARG

Well, what I am trying to say is that I have the "base" (the part that is actually screwed to the receiver). What I don't have is the scope, and the rings/mount, or whatever you want to call it.

Normally what you see for sale on eBay is three pieces; scope, mount, and base.
