I am fond of the M48A...I find the fit and finish to be better on average to the M48 all milled early rifles...I think the workers and admin had worked out the early bugs and learned how to make one fine rifle..personaly as a shooter I would go with the M48A

Nugs eluding to the fact that M48A marked rifles are not Necessarily M48A rifles but are in the vast majority M48B rifles according to the Yugoslavs

It gets very confusing when as Nug says we dont see any actual M48A rifles here and so the common reference for most stateside collectors to the M48B is to call them as they are marked..M48A

Here is my M48 shooter which came assembled as an M48B..tight as a tick and cozmo full..Walnut stocked too..has all the stamped parts of an M48B
