I got the rifle a couple days ago on my lunch break from work, met the man at the local gunshop. Gave him the 500 for the rifle ,bayo, 4 mags , night sight adapter, sling, cleaning kit, slip on stock pad, take-down tools, manual, and the 300 rounds of ammo. Looks to be Syrian , sounds like a 50/50 chance on reliability. He was not interested in the Luger, so I might use that towards a Garand at the same shop. The MAS # is H305XX, rearsenaled in 1972 by the # on top of the bolt/slide, what would be the year of actual manufacture? Very stout and hefty rifle and cant wait to shoot it, and reload for it. Sorry, no pics.
