This country is $9,000,000,000,000 in debt. The cost of the Iraq war is almost $1 Trillion. We can't afford it anymore, not in human lives or borrowed dollars from China.

Its easy for the turkeyhawks to claim that we should stay when its not them that are fighting.

We have painted the biggest recruiting poster in the world for AQ, by invading Iraq, with the blood of our soldiers.

We had no justification in going in. Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11, as George Bush himself has said. This pre-emptive invasion goes against conservative philosophy in every way shape and form.

Remember Bosnia folks? 80% of the Republicans in Congress were against our intervention their.

“You can support the troops but not the president.”–Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

“Explain to the mothers and fathers of American servicemen that may come home in body bags why their son or daughter have to give up their life?”–Sean Hannity, Fox News, 4/6/99

“[The] President . . . is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation’s armed forces about how long they will be away from home. These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy.”–Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA)”

American foreign policy is now one huge big mystery. Simply put, the administration is trying to lead the world with a feel-good foreign policy.”–Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

“If we are going to commit American troops, we must be certain they have a clear mission, an achievable goal and an exit strategy.”
–Karen Hughes, speaking on behalf of George W Bush

“I had doubts about the bombing campaign from the beginning . . I didn’t think we had done enough in the diplomatic area.”–Senator Trent Lott (R-MS)

“I cannot support a failed foreign policy. History teaches us that it is often easier to make war than peace. This administration is just learning that lesson right now. The President began this mission with very vague objectives and lots of unanswered questions. A month later, these questions are still unanswered. There are no clarified rules of engagement. There is no timetable. There is no legitimate definition of victory. There is no contingency plan for mission creep. There is no clear funding program. There is no agenda to bolster our over-extended military. There is no explanation defining what vital national interests are at stake. There was no strategic plan for war when the President started this thing, and there still is no plan today”–Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

“Victory means exit strategy, and it’s important for the President to explain to us what the exit strategy is.”– Governor George W. Bush (R)-TX

Your cut and paste post wasn't worth reading in it's entirety and judging by the length and amount of serious errors in it; you are not worth educating and have nothing to offer to the conversation.

You would be much happier re-posting your cut and paste material where people are happy to read the same old dis-proven crap over and over again

JMHO.
Keep drinking the kool-aid bud. Keep ignoring facts and believing in this flawed ideology of the President.

Everything you guys post is "cut and paste" per say. Its things that O'Reilly, Hannity and Limbaugh say. You guys can't think for yourselves on this issue. Calling democrats traitors because they don't agree with you on the war isn't smart and it makes you look stupid. It shows you have no rational argument against what they are saying, unless of course you repeat statist propaganda.

Dis proven crap? Please fell free to point out the "errors" in my post. Oh really so you are telling me there is no national debt? That things in Iraq have gone 100% perfectly? When they brainwashed you, did they wax it too?

"Calling democrats traitors because they don't agree with you..."

MauserBoy, you really need to read Ann Coulter's book "Treason". In it she lays it all out about the treasonous Democrat Party, going back to FDR.

Convinced me. The modern day Democrat Party is the party of treason. Then and now.

I'm a Mauser Boy too ( 24/47 & a Turked Gewehr 98 ).

Irgun.
I find it best not to read straight from the warhawk mouth. Both parties have done treasonous acts against our country. As citizens we shouldn't become ideologues to a particular party we should form our own opinions after hearing what both sides have to say and by sticking to our Constitution and our traditions as a nation. We should not go to war without a declaration. We should not be out looking for fights.

oh and retmarine_2003, nice cut and paste stories. But you failed to come up with any argument what so ever in regard to what I posted. Try Again.

There is a simple reason why I didn't come up with an argument to anything you posted, Mouser boy.

Everything you posted was fictitious or half-truth crap.

Everything I posted has really happened.

Simple enough for you?
You are full of horse poo. Its very true what I posted. You are just letting your blind faith in a broken ideology lead you to conclusions that are incorrect.

The two parties are the same?!

Umm, no, it says that Dems are political oportunists who change thier position whenever it suits thier need.

Now, the same Dems who supported the war, now say it was all a lie!?!?

Dems are polital whores who will sell out to whom ever will get them back in power.
The same way Bush and the Republicans were against foreign intervention in 2000 but in 2001-2002 we were for foreign intervention in the affairs of other nations?

Small things may differ, but major policies do not.

We still have 730 permanent military installations in 130 countries. The military industrial complex has so much control over the system it isn't even funny. We still have an Income tax system and an IRS, which are ruthless and immoral in their collection habits. We still encourage the welfare state. We sign on to organizations that subvert or soverignty. There are still others, these are just ones off the top of my head.

Just as a point of information: the welfare state was a Democratic invention....
Then why have Republicans not trimmed it down?

Why did Bush push for a senior prescription drug benefit that further bankrupted this country? And more importantly WHY DID REPUBLICANS VOTE FOR IT????
Why did Republicans double the size of the department of education rather than eliminating it?

MB,
You seem to defend libreal democrats, and dislike republicans, why do you have a republican candidate on your sig?
Because I don't tie my allegiance to a particular party, but towards the Constitution and traditional Conservative American values. Remember, the Democratic party used to be considered "conservative".

Yes, there very well maybe democrats who are traitors. But that doesn't mean you should generalize someone because of the letter next to their name, whether it would be D or R. Bush is a Republican but his actions are not in step with the traditional views and actions of the Republican party.

You are at a constant loss of credibility.

Not only because all of your opinions and views of history require the full benefit of hindsight with a dash of rewriting history and an extra helping of taking it out of context to make it palatable, but because you write and likely think like a schizophrenic.

I suspect that may be because you are trying hard to make people believe that you believe in things you have already displayed that you clearly do not believe in.

You go from posting angry socialist crap to trying to pretend you care about "Constitutional or conservative values".

This is nothing more than written double talk.

Perhaps as you have posted; "You are just letting your blind faith in a broken ideology lead you to conclusions that are incorrect."
Please show me where I posted "socliast crap."

You won't find it, because I never said it. Quite frankly sir, I think you're a bumbling idiot that won't debate me because you are unable to. You don't have a good argument besides "TRAITOR LOL, SOCIALIST, LOL, COMMIE, LOL, YOU HATE AMERICA BECAUSE YOU WANT THE TROOPS TO LEAVE, LOL,"
Please, try forming your own opinions rather than regurgitating the same mindless sh*t the bush people send out.

You need to read your own posts to answer your own questions.

Then get back to me later by PM with an apology for wasting my time.

While you are at it you can return to this forum and appoligise for wasting everyone else's time with your poorly researched and moronic blurbs.

I have better things to do than entertain an ignorant and hopeless little Chimp like you.
Because you can't debate facts. You've let the talking heads brainwash you and you are believing in a failed ideology, probably to the bitter end. Furher syndrome is what you have, "No matter what it takes as long as it takes...victory or death...anyone who disagrees is a defeatist and traitor.."

You haven't even attempted to even discuss the topic at hand, just "traitors" is all we get out of you. Apparently thats what the neo-con base has for brains today, mush. Pure mush. Nothing that can process or form opinions, just the same mantra we've been hearing from the ones in charge. You are the liberal if you support this war, you are the liberal if you support this President. This President is in no way shape or form the definition of conservative. You exemplify this material:

You continue to repeat the same few words and phrases you have repeated since the beginning.

You are not debating anyone.

You are not even remotely qualified to debate with anyone here.

The only variation you show is the weak insults you try to hurl at those who disagree with you.

Then you accuse others of being brain washed?

Try reading your own crap and see how completely ridiculous you are.
Weak insults? So you don't think calling those that oppose the war "traitors" isn't an insult?
Check yourself before you call others out.

Read some of the half baked schemes our leftists cook up and advocate for, judge them with common sense.

When these fools talk about appeasing radical museums, read what the radicals have to say.

When they talk about "common sense gun legislation" always ask for their definition of common sense. If they can not provide one let their past experiences show you their definition.

When they vote against their values "for principle" know that they have no values or real principals.
Yet just like you, they endorse the welfare-warfare state. So there really isn't much difference between you and your democrat friends.

I think you are "projecting" here.

This is one of your typical low functioning douche bag ploys to distract us from the fact that you don't have a clue, a real opinion, or a purpose in life.

I learn more about you from the questions you refuse to answer and dance around.
Oh dear....who let ret_marine out of the mental institution again??

I hear Wes has begun a pyramid scheme home party plan selling bio-diesel powered sex toys to pre-operative transexuals.

Nice business plan, dude.
What as that called for? Go sit in the corner.

Yeah, I think it was called for. Why don't you email Ron Paul and ask him what you should think about it?
No it really wasn't. You childishly attacked someone you disagreed with, someone that didn't insult you. If it was against me its one thing but against someone stating their opinion thats totally uncalled for. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Wes, those tax protester folks who got arrested in NH thought THEY and their supporters were the only ones following the Constitution. Ron Paul marches to the same off tune sort of beat, ignoring the parts of the Constitution that he disagrees with
Name one example. I dare you, name one where you can clearly document that Ron Paul ignores.

See you obviously didn't read what you copy and pasted.

He's not ignoring it stupid. He's saying its detrimental to the economy.

"......the Federal Reserve, our central bank, fosters runaway debt by increasing the money supply — making each dollar in your pocket worth less. The Fed is a private bank run by unelected officials who are not required to be open or accountable to “we the people.”

What he said shows no indication of him wanting to ignore it. If anything he cares enough to see that there is a problem. The Fed allows the government to spend more money. Simply put, it allows government to grow. Having the dollar backed by gold limits the amount of money a government can spend thus making it a "limited government". If they don't have it they either have to borrow it or tax it. This was done in the past before the Fed was created.

The Congress shall have Power...To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof*, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures
Yes paper money was allowed to be legal tender, but it was backed by gold. Money today has NO value. It is printed out of thin air at the request of politicians. The dollar today compared to the dollar of 1913 is worth about 4 cents.

""If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."-Thomas Jefferson"

"Most Americans have no real understanding of the operation of the international money lenders. The accounts of the Federal Reserve System have never been audited. It operates outside the control of Congress and manipulates the credit of the United States." -- Sen. Barry Goldwater (Rep. AR)

"It is well that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning." -- Henry Ford

"The regional Federal Reserve banks are not government agencies. ...but are independent, privately owned and locally controlled corporations." -- Lewis vs. United States, 680 F. 2d 1239 9th Circuit 1982

"We have, in this country, one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board. This evil institution has impoverished the people of the United States and has practically bankrupted our government. It has done this through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it." -- Congressman Louis T. McFadden in 1932 (Rep. Pa)

"By this means government may secretly and unobserved, confiscate the wealth of the people, and not one man in a million will detect the theft." -- British Lord John Maynard Keynes (the father of 'Keynesian Economics' which our nation now endures) in his book "THE ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES OF THE PEACE" (1920).

"This [Federal Reserve Act] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President [Wilson} signs this bill, the invisible government of the monetary power will be legalized....the worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency bill." -- Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. , 1913

"From now on, depressions will be scientifically created." -- Congressman Charles A. Lindbergh Sr. , 1913

"The [Federal Reserve Act] as it stands seems to me to open the way to a vast inflation of the currency... I do not like to think that any law can be passed that will make it possible to submerge the gold standard in a flood of irredeemable paper currency." -- Henry Cabot Lodge Sr., 1913

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power (of money) should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs." -- Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President.

"If Congress has the right [it doesn't] to issue paper money [currency], it was given to them to be used by...[the government] and not to be delegated to individuals or corporations." -- President Andrew Jackson, Vetoed Bank Bill of 1836

"History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling money and it's issuance." -- James Madison

"Should government refrain from regulation (taxation), the worthlessness of the money becomes apparent and the FRAUD can no longer be concealed." -- British Lord John Maynard Keynes (the father of 'Keynesian Economics' which our nation now endures) in his book "THE ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES OF THE PEACE" (1920).

Section 10. No state shall enter into any treaty, alliance, or confederation; grant letters of marque and reprisal; coin money; emit bills of credit; make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts; pass any bill of attainder, ex post facto law, or law impairing the obligation of contracts, or grant any title of nobility.

And giving direct control of our money and financial institutions to the politicians WOULDN'T be detrimental to the economy?
Then why would you hand over the wealth of the United States to a group of international bankers that is not audited by Congress? Guess the last time we audited the gold in fort knox...not since we went off the gold standard.

The way the system is set up, it allows politicians to spend money they don't have and it gives the wealth of the United States to elitist bankers.
You do realize that when we borrow money from the Fed they charge us interest...on our own money.

Why do you think the Founders didn't want a central banking system? It gives bankers control of the US MONEY SUPPLY!

Ron may have been a decent twat doctor before he became a politician, but he obviously knows little about organized labor. It should be treated as what it was under the common law - a unlawful conspiracy in restraint of trade and to commit extortion.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Unions have done some good. Today they are merely a drain on the economy. But child labor laws and safe working conditions didn't come from the caring hearts of corporate CEOs...
