Most of the M95s in the US have been through Bulgaria at some point. Hard to tell from the photos, but it looks like your has an HV-(eagle)-33 acceptance mark, indicating a re-barrel in Austria circa 1933; it has the short rear sight and non-banded front sight, so it is not a cut-down rifle. The sling configuration is typical for a Bulgarian refurb. With the bayonet included, I'd say you got a good deal.

Thank you Devo. I will get some better pictures when it arrives. Need to start doing some research. I think I am going to like it.

Price was excellent. Bayonets have been selling for $75 plus.

It looks to be a Bulgarian piece, but most of those came through Austria, and some via Hungary post war (will be H marked). If the serial number is electro penciled on the bolt, it is a Bulgarian.

Looks like a bulgarian slink on it as well.
