This is my dad's bring-back. 0 series nagoya, missing the goodies. bolt is matching to itself, sn # 081........ reciever is 60681 question is..could this be the orig bolt, a case of poor eyesight by assembler/inspector, or just a very close mis-match? Any thought of markings on remainder of sling? bolt is chrome faced, striker is numbered on body, standard rear swivel. I always thought it was a mis match, as I would guess quality control on these early series rifles would be exact.

Bolt

Is the bolt an early one? Chrome face? Firing pin numbered on sear?

Probably not a factory error; could be a later mix up though, or just happenstance.
