Has anyone ever seen a photo of a post-WW2 Czech soldier with a Walther P38???

Hello the use of P38 is certainly confirmed in czechoslovak army, in the new book of Jan Balcar, is mentioned assembly of X000 pistols from parts of Spreewerk probably when i am correct. best regards,Andy

We know they used them and in fact, they put some together from wartime parts and even did some contracts for barrels and magazines. However, I've never seen a picture of a czechoslovak soldier carrying a P38.

The time of usage of old WWII german weapons in hands of Czechoslovak soldiers was very short 1945 till 1950 (+/-) when the weapons were replaced by Russian standard weapons, Mainly old german weapons were used during training (remember grandfather of mine told me they used MP38/40s and MP41s for practice shooting), and after the 1950 majority of german guns were sold out to countries like Israel and some arabic countries
