I have a couple of 800 round cases of Czech 762x54r. One place on the wood box says 91/86, another says 133/86. The cartridge is bxn 86.
I would assume that the cartridges were made in 1986.
What do the other numbers mean?
(I have a case that was marked 66 but the ammo head stamp is 65. The number on the crate may be when it was packed in the crate. I would tend to go by the head stamp.)
Sorry. The above is not true. My crate has 51/65 and the head stamp 65. I believe the 65 is the year of manufactor.:sorry:
