A cz 83 spring might work. Basically the same as a cz 82.

I recently ordered some recoil springs for a CZ-82 from CZ-USA. They sent me CZ-83 springs. They work just fine. (I ordered a spare magazine, too, and they sent me a CZ-83 mag, which works just fine also.)

You can cut down a Wolff 19lb Makarov spring. It worked for me.

Very interesting article. Thanks for sharing it here.

As a matter of curiosity, before I start cutting on a 19# spring that I just happen to have in the parts drawer, how did you "flatten the end" (per the article) after cutting off the extra coils from the Wolf spring?

After cutting the spring to length, I used two pair of needle nose pliers held about 1/4" apart to tightly grip the spring near the cut end, then carefully twisted the pliers to get the bend I wanted. Took several tries to get it right, but it wasn't difficult.
