should this be under spring tension or loose? I have tension on the sear but I don't know if this is fully seated on the upper spring arm or not. I can move it with pretty much zero tension.

there's that hole hole, you'll need a toothpick or dental pick, to place the spring leg, it needs to be under tension, supposedly there's a way to assemble it
so that leg goes right every time... next, you'll fine the fun of the slide release lever... well there's 3 versions of those, from shephhttps://l3harris-w13.prod.fire.glass/resources?rid=df170ad7fa1ddaa5c91eee9f2aaf352049c15bcfbbddc0d1bcfcb01af4ea3415&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ar15.com%2Fmedia%2FmediaFiles%2F56078%2F20220925_112747_jpg-2538754.JPG&cid=__FGL__232223232cde025110d1277b887b06a38fe667c30000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000&bdk=cookiesEncryptionDisabled&eid=1erds crook to a L
