Any harm you see in shooting the rest, except to the cases, of course? I think I'll try a bit of the milsurp stuff I still have, just to see if it does the same.

I have what I believe to be some hot Czech 7.62x25mm that I bought many years ago. I fired some in my CZ 52 handgun and thought it was pretty hot. So I put the ammo in a safe dry place and haven't shot any of it in the CZ 52 piece again. I picked up a PPS 43 c a few years ago and fired a full mag. through it. The PPS 43c seemed to like it very much and the accuracy was good. That is the only gun I have that I'd shoot the ammo in. After shooting this ammo I clean the PPS 43c very thoroughly because I believe the ammo to have corrosive primers.

If it's dated in the 1950s it is definitely corrosive. If you have a TT33 it should also eat that ammo with no problem.
