In that link you gave it states "NB was an armed force, organized and trained as such, but equipped to perform police rather than military functions. For whatever reason, only early 1950's vz. 50 pistols are NB-marked. The 50 denotes 1950; NB51 and NB52 markings have also been seen."

Vz 50s were produced initially at Strakonice and later at U. B. Ended manufacture in 1970.
The Strakonice factory Serial numbers start at 650001, continuing from the discontinued vz. 27 serial number range. Pistols manufactured end in the 740000 range.
650,000 minus 658,687 = the 8,687 one made, in 1950, I guess, The math combined with the above link looks good for a 1950.
