I just purchased a CVA .44 Dragoon online. I can remember being a kid back in the 80s and thumbing thru their catalog while wishing for one of every thing they sold. Not sure why, but it seems that in the early 90s sometime CVA stopped marketing repros and turned toward the inline rifle market.

Anyone have experience with a CVA pistol?

What size ball will the CVA pistols take?

Thanks

I just purchased a CVA 1858 Remington 44 army replica........mine was made in 1987. I really like it, unlike most newer models, mine has all the italian markings underneath the barrel, covered by the loading lever.

I dont know when CVA stopped making blk powder revolvers, pretty sure they still make single shot blk powder pistols though
