That pic is of a Marine Sniper the end of hostilities in the Marianas. Some guys on another forum, with better computers were able to decipher his name from his dungaree shirt on the back of his chair. Someone tracked him down and it turned out that he was from Tucson, AZ, and lived there until his death at 85+.

That is what Carlos was using in Nam, 7.8 power Unertl, on Winchester M70. The Unertls' were in use from about 1943 till late Nam and possibly after.
