I had received my Colt M-4 with a sight meant for a 7.62MM upper. I called Colt's customer servive and received a new (correct) sight today. Kudos, Colt.
The rifle was 5.56MM, just the sight was for 7.62X39MM. It seemed to work fine, but, of course, I wasnted the right one. They told me to keep the 7.62.
Glad to see Colt's customer service is still excellent. I haven't had to deal with their customer service department since 1994ish, but they were top notch back then too.
