Gentlemen,

Here I go again. I am looking at a nice (about 95% +) blued, Colt Commander 1991. The price is $550. I buy mostly C&Rs and do not follow prices on modern guns. Is this a good price? should I wait and keep looking? Thanks

Best for the latest prices is to check the Gunbroker completed auction results for Colt Commanders. You'll need to sign on and do an advanced search to get that completed option.

I was wondering how to check the completed transaction prices. By the way, I went to look at the gun again and it was not a Commanders Model but an Officer's one. I'm thinking about getting it anyway, but I checked online and some say that the shorter barrel leads to malfunctions. Anyone has first hand experience on this matter?

Hard to find any nice Colt 1991 for less than $600.00. You might beat that price but probably won't be a gunshop; especially for an Officer's Model.

Hello VictorC. I just saw one (Officer Model 1991) at Cabela's and they were asking $675. It was in near new condition. I PROBABLY should have bought it.
