Guys i dug out my old zf41 and had never noticed it is cloudy. Is there any way i can disassemble and clean without damaging ? Any help would be great. I can see the cross hairs but it is pretty cloudy.

I have read about how to destroy your painted on cross hairs etc. Just wondering if anyone has experience with these and cleaning

Know one guy in California whom has been doing them for years. Cloudy can usually be taken care of. If it is due to oil, etc. getting into the tube, the "picket post" (as mentioned above) can dissolve away, and must be replaced. This can only be accomplished by salvaging a good one from another original Zf41 (although I believe one taken from a Chinese repro can be adapted, since the reticle is of plastic with "picket-post" etched into it).
