I bought a Russian cleaning/tool kit from an online seller for my Finn M91 and when I wanted to put the rod collar on the cleaning rod end it wouldn't fit, I thought these things were pretty much universal, other than the obvious differences(elongated heads etc.) are there different diameters of the cleaning rod heads also? the picture included is not of mine ,but just so you guys know what I'm referring to

What type of cleaning rod head to you have? Being that it's a Finn, if you have the long slotted type, I do not think that it would work.

not sure if you can see it good , but its the short round type..its just a bit wider than the rod collar hole

Early cleaning rods - M91, dragoon/Cossack, and early 91/30 - have a much larger head than the later 91/30 rods.
