Ammo pouch, cleaning kit, and sling are good basic T53 accessories. Rich Reich has slings and pouches. Good time to grab some while they're available.

Just sold an excellent complete T53 kit at SOS. Rick has the stuff and if he doesnt I have some slings (3 types) for the gun still.

He posted that he had a bunch of Chinese slings on the trader a little while ago. I don't think they're on his list. Best to email him.

Keep your eyes open, look at the auctions, and get in touch with "certain" GunBoards members...and, you'll be SURPRISED how fast you can accumulate a TON of accessories too!!!

Here are some pics of my T53 complete WITH accessories!!:http://forums.gunboards.com/showthr...Huong-quot-my-first-Chinese-Type-53-pic-heavyHope that helps!!!!
Nice!

Don't forget that the Chicom web "chest pouch" for the Type 53 came in two versions: early with the cloth pocket ties (as shown in your link) and a later variant with wooden toggle closures. The same can be said about the Chicom SKS chest pouches. All this stuff used to be so common back in the late '80s that most collectors took it for granted. Now it's very hard to find. I'm happy to say that I purchased a lot back in the old days and I have kept it all. :)

Thanks Richard. I think the second type might be rarer. Most photos seem to show the cloth tie closing type.

I have both versions...it seemed to me that when I was looking, the newer version was easier to find...
