I came across a '65 date Factory 26 SKS over the weekend. It was well worn and matching and equipped with an AK bayonet? Bubba's handiwork or were AK bayos ever used as substitutes?
Could be it is a bringback from Vietnam. A number of those came with replacement AK bayonets. Look to see if it has any import marks. Especially check underneath the bayonet on the barrel.
