I got kicked out of Utah a decade or so back, escorted right to the stateline...But other than Utah and Canada I havent been kicked out of anywhere.Rather anti-social uptight folks (in both places actually) so I havent missed them any...Nice collection tho.
Charlie,Eric,Thanks for posting the Japanese field piece in Salt Lake and in that small museum in
Utah. That display looked great,as it covered most of the stuff us guys look to collect or
wish we had.Was that museum right in Salt Lake itself,or was it on the outskirts of Salt Lake? W`eve landed in Salt Lake a few times on our way to Calif.,and sometimes w`eve
had a three hour layover before the next flight, and we would kill the time by walking around
that long terminal with all those shops for tourists. The security checkout for boarding air
craft is the toughest w`eve seen yet.

I made darn sure that I hit that place too! Check out this beauty, first one I've ever seen..I live 15 minutes from Ft. Douglas and I agree, the SLC airport security is slow...but thorough. Plan on the world longest wait for your bags as well...under 30 minutes is a bonus. If any of you ever find yourself in SLC, there are two places that are a must see. The first is the gun display at the John Browning Museum. It's about 30 minutes north of SLC in Ogden. The second is the Aerospace Museum at Hill AFB which is only 15minutes from the Browning Museum. If you're into aircraft this is a display to die for...and it's free to boot.
