Can anyone confirm the size of the mount screw Century used on their made up PU snipers? I bought one that had been drilled and tapped by century, but was missing the scope and hardware; I finally got around to getting a new scope for it, but the screws that came with that one are M6's, which are too big. I was able to try a M5x0.8 and it was close, but the thread is too coarse. I assume this means it has to be a M5x0.5, but no one stocks them, and I mean no one. I was hoping maybe someone had worked through this problem before and could provide some insight before I try and re-drill this thing.

The rifles that had the aluminum bases used the 5mm screws and generally had different spacing than a standard PU steel base. Should be easy enough to tap for 6mm x 1 pitch and get cheesehead screws which are pretty common. I;m not sure what you have there either but sounds like an lf Aluminum base. The pins and capture screws were different as well. But dunno without pics or more detail.
