Model 1891 cavalry carbines in 6.5mm had gain (progressive) right-hand twist rifling 390mm at the breech and 190mm at the muzzle; the 6.5mm Model 91/38 had 215mm constant twist rifling. The 7.35mm Model 91/38 had 240mm constant twist. Ralph
