Can anyone ID this stock? It looks very confused to me. I was thinking spanish mauser wood, but i'm not even close to being an expert. The sling resembles an M1 carbine sling too.

When the Spanish stamped serial numbers on stocks, they normally did so right below the receiver rail line on the left side of the stock. The position of the numbers on this one suggests more Yugoslav or Romanian.

Hi Greg,
The stock and bands are from a Model 1935 Peruvian short rifle made by FN in Liege, Belgium....long before WW II.

Parts on the Frankenmauser rifle were worth the bid price these days assuming the bore condition matched the description. A matching K 98 bolt goes for $100.00 these days.
