Looks like a Commercial version of the R-K ( The Indian Agency R-Ks were shorter, almost Carbine style. And it seems to have a re-inforcing or repair Plate over the wrist of the stock. SIze of the mag tube is right for .45/70. ( or 43 Remington or one or other of the 40 cal Remington Cartridges.

A check on one of the Antique rifle catalogues (Flaydermann's eg) may resolve the problem.

IN various films and TV series, I have seen (Correctly used) R-K, Hotchkiss, and Peabody; even the occasional Rem.Lee

You nailed it Doc. It was the re-inforcing plates that threw me. I did some more stop action shots and now I can plainly see it's some kind of Bubba'd R-K. Thanks.
