Looking for other stuff, I found this rifle which might be of interest. With my poor memory, I have to look for stuff more often--it is like finding a new treasure.

It would appear that there was a damaged receiver that was scrapped and a new 1955 dated replacement fitted reusing the old WWII serial number.

Very cool. The only other one that I've seen is from the batch that resides in Italy. They've posted pictures of that one, as well. How and where did your's come to you? I'm jealous. Post your data!!!!
