Flak Masterson - flaked out on buying some rifle parts from me. Said he sent the first payment to the wrong address and was sending another which never came. He never told me he was backing out of the deal. Then he blocked PMs so I relisted the listing and sold it to someone else that did pay. Watch out. A reputation is earned, good or bad.

Sorry I didn't mean to trigger a tantrum from you. I'm not lying about not receiving the payment but you did lie about sending a replacement MO. This isn't ebay so I don't have to accept PayPal. There is more to this than what you are saying and you know it. I'm just sticking to the facts here and have not been insulting in any way like you have.

Don't like to do this, but I guess a remark is is in order.
I bought a Marginal T14 with accessories a while back for a lot of money. That was my choice.
On inspection, the matching firing pin was broken.
I apprised the seller, not really expecting to return it, but maybe some comp.
Never received a reply.
"Maxipum" goes down as a sorry individual in my book.

just have the tip re pointed by TIG/MIG welding.i have had it done on several weapons that the firing pin was snapped on purpose, so as to be non fire able.seems that was a common practice after the war. just a thought?

John Rose - Im pretty sure this mans reputation needs no help on this forum but I wanted to share my experience. He replied to my posting looking for a number of books, one being a very sought after out of print book that is incredibly hard to come by and even harder to afford if you do find one. He offered to send me that book as well as 2 other books so long as I payed for the shipping and promised to take great care with them until I returned them to him. The information in these books is priceless to me and Im still taken back that someone would go so far out of their way to help another collector learn. What an outstanding guy!

Nick1 - sold me a Type 38 that seemed too good to be true... until I looked closer and saw that the stock had 2 long/deep cracks that ran from ahead of the magazine box to the end of the wrist tang. After confirming with my smith (fear is that the cracks will meet at the wrist) I brought it to Nicks attention along with a serious headspacing issue... Nick1 told me to have it repaired because he wasnt running a shop and isnt taking returns. This coming from someone who took FOREVER to respond and ship out rifles that people had payed for weeks prior. This is not how you deal with people when you sell them something you falsely advertise as a fully functional shooter! He also got so nasty through email that I had to block him from contacting me...
