Hi guys,
I came across this carbine today and was hoping to get an ID on the model and whether it's a Darra gun or the real deal. Is the rampant lion logo the British East India company? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like the real article to me. EIC version of the P42 Carbine. Obviously has had some later embellishments such as the decoration and the added sling swivels (I had an Indian P56 carbine with swivels added also). Are there proofmarks on the barrel?
