Can any one direct me to where I cn find some 174 gr. heads for my British 303. The only heads I have been able to find are the Hornady 174 Match. At $29.00 a box I'm going broke.

You could always buy some of the old milsurp .303 cartridges from Samco and then either shoot it or break it down and use the bullets (not "heads") for reloading.

another option is to find a tin of 54R heavy ball (180 Gr.) and pull the bulllets and reload them in your 303 You can even use the powder if you know what your doing and feel safe doing it.

THat's what I do. I pull the bullets from Albanian 7.62x54R and they work great in my Enfields. I reuse the powder and recycle the brass cases. Probably costs about a penny a bullet by the time I'm done. Even at today's prices it is still economically viable to pull bullets from 7.62x54R for reloading .303 Brit
