You can see it in action here:

http://www.edisport.it/edisport/armi/home.nsf

Follow the link to "Multimediale" (on the left)
Click on "Filmati" (on the left)
Click on Breda 30

The same site has lots of other neat clips too! I particularly liked the video of the so called "Siringone" (Beretta 18/30)

Hallo All,
The magazine is a 20 rounds fixed to guns. Rotating forward mags was possible to charge ammo with dedicated 20 rounds clips, brass made. I have a pic of reload clip and I'll post you when i find it.
My father in law was a Breda 30 Machine gunner, he fought in France, Greece, Yugoslavia. When we talk about this gun he remembered that malfuncion was frequent maily because there was an oil dispenser that was devoted to lubrificate every round. Of corse with powder, mud and burned gunpowder in few time the gun was locked. He used a system to avoid this problem: drained well oil reserve, washed in gasoline bolt and dryed everything. So the gun work quite well. The Breda 30 is a well machined and finished gun but too many weak point affect his design. In my opinion was the worst gun in italian weaponry WWII.

Can you believe that some of the hobbyist gunsmiths are going to attempt to make semi-automatic versions of this from the demilled kits that SARCO has?
