Check out this Brazilian VZ24 that I picked up tonight. Its in pretty good condition and has a good bore. Not really familiar with these and maybe some of you could tell me more about some of the numbers on the gun.

Hard to find one in good condition with a good bore. What's the deal with the floorplate? Is it nickeled?

It looks like it was nickle plated, the bolt too.

I took this one apart yesterday and the metal is very good under the wood. I've heard stories of these being pitted very bad. Not this one, it must have not been used much.

Those are the import required "new" serial numbers. I have noticed them for several years now. The 2681 is the original serial. (wonder what the bolt is?) The other numbers/letters---have no clue. The bolt should be polished.

The bolt has no numbers and its not scrubbed either.

Are you guys looking in the right place for the bolt number?
