Copy of the Chinese version with open back but made in korea. Fits my Saiga but not my Romanian. Fits in the Romy but wont lock in.

Any idea why it will not work in my WASR when there is no reason it should not?

Is the saiga modified to take regular AK mags?

It could be a saiga only drum (the feed ramp of the WASR would then be stopping the drum from seating).

If not it could be something as simple as the WASR's mag well not being properly squared at the rear (I've had to work on several WASR's in this area to get them to take std AK mags more easily).

My Saiga takes #10 waffle mags so yes. I don't want to alter the mag as the 30 rounders fit the WASR fine. Can't mess with what DOES work.

I have three of the drums. Each one fits different rifles and a Draco. It appears to be a slight difference in the rifles and drums. Probably need to take a little time and (file=GUTS) to make them all fit universal.

Check the fit at the rear of your rifle's mag well.
