hello all

just got this one but there is something not clear for me . i thought that SS contract hadn't suffix letter and no waffenamt on the receiver's top but this haven't the waffenamt and its S/N is 1357r , it's matching except the floor plate and the bolt , both have 6725 S/N ,this last is all matching parts . all the main components are numbered . can somebody give me an explanation ?.

Its a standard army rifle from the r block, so either a factory mistake or the gun wasn't actually finished until early 44 when the top proof was dropped. Steyr had serious quality issues so either is possible.
